Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Android: Open the Google Play Store app → tap your profile picture (top right) → Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions → tap SteadwinCancel subscription.

iOS (when launched): Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → tap Steadwin → Cancel subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain Premium until then, even after cancelling.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are issued by Apple or Google directly, since they handle the payment. We don't process payments and can't issue refunds on our end.

If a refund is denied and you believe it's an error (charged twice, app didn't work, etc.), email us at ahmed@deemaco.com with the order ID and we'll advocate on your behalf.

The 7-day free trial — when am I charged?

If you start the trial on a Monday, the first $4.99 / week charge lands the next Monday at the same time. We pre-warn you in the app the day before the charge as a courtesy.

To avoid being charged: cancel before the trial ends (any time during the 7 days). You keep premium until the trial expires; you're not charged.

How do I export or back up my data?

Open Steadwin → ProfileData → tap Copy backup. Your full dataset (fasts, weight, water, mood, journal, settings) is copied to your clipboard as JSON. Paste it into Notes, email it to yourself, or upload to Drive / iCloud as a manual archive.

How do I delete all my data?

Uninstall the app. All your data lives on your phone — when iOS or Android removes the app sandbox, the data is gone. There are no copies on our servers. Anonymous analytics retained by PostHog (event names, never health data) can be purged on request — email us with your device UUID (visible in Profile → About).

I forgot my password / can't sign in

Steadwin has no login. There's no password to forget. Your data is identified by your device — uninstalling and reinstalling will reset everything.

This means there is currently no way to recover data after uninstalling the app. Cloud Backup (a future Premium feature) will solve this; in the meantime, use the Copy backup function before uninstalling if you want to preserve your history.

Why isn't there an iOS version?

It's coming. We launched on Android first because Android dominates our biggest target markets (MENA, LATAM). iOS is on the roadmap for ~6-10 weeks after the Android launch metrics justify the Apple Developer Program enrollment.

How are my Arabic numerals displayed?

Steadwin shows Hindi-Arabic numerals (٠ ١ ٢…) when your device locale is Arabic and Western Arabic numerals (0 1 2…) otherwise. Time formatting follows the same locale rule.

Does Steadwin work on Android tablets?

Yes — the layout adapts to landscape and tablet aspect ratios. The 4×2 widget is also tablet-friendly.

The notifications are too aggressive / I want them off

Profile → Notifications → toggle Reminders & milestones off. Or enable Quiet hours if you only want notifications during your waking hours.

Privacy questions
